We offer relevant coaching & tuition to enable archers to develop skills and maintain a positive attitude. Shooting opportunities for all archers (beginners or advanced) are provided and we give opportunities for all archers to expand their knowledge, develop their skills and share these with each other.
Regular handicap competitions are run within the club. There is also the opportunity to enter competitions run by other clubs, details of which are circulated within the club and are also posted onto the noticeboard.
Members' scores can be submitted and viewed on the Golden Records website. The club's records officer will review all submitted scores and award any classifications or club records attained.
The club's year runs from 1st April to 31st March and charges an annual membership fee that covers the club's running costs. Archers must also have a valid membership to Archery GB, the Northern Counties Archery Society (NCAS) and the Durham & Northumberland Archery Association (DNAA). The club fee is pro-rata if joining part way through the year.
